Jon Davidann, Ph.D., Professor of History at HPU, presented a paper titled “A Critique of Westernization” at a Royal Irish Academy conference called “The West or the Rest? - Identity, Ideology, Institutions” in Dublin, Ireland, on Wednesday, May 1. Davidann was on the same podium as the Irish Foreign and Defence Minister, Micheal Martin, who gave a stirring address on internationalism and human rights.
