HPU Associate Professor of Economics Ken Schoolland’s highly successful economics book, The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible was recently published in Georgian. Author Nodar Chinchaladze published the new and improved Georgian edition of Gullible that includes vibrant illustrations.
Chinchaladze has long been a champion of liberty in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is the author of Restart: Restart the Action Again, about a “frustrating journey through the morass, abuse, and corruption of the vestige bureaucratic world that persist and harasses Georgians,” notes Schoolland on his website.
“For years, Nodar has hosted a televised show to raise the public conscience about the perils of freedom in a world so crushed by attitudes of complacency,” noted Schoolland on his website. “Feeling inspired by the manner of storytelling and message in Jonathan Gullible, Nodar has invited local intellectuals throughout the year to examine the relevance of each of the 40 chapters one week at a time. Now with brilliant artistic flair of Ani Palavandishvili, a new edition has just been released. Front and back covers are from the original illustrations of Kris Haladus, but internal illustrations are original to this edition.”
Schoolland recently joined Chinchaladze this summer in Georgia with Gia Jandieri to discuss Gullible. Check out the YouTube video below for the full interview.
