International Group Programs

GAIN EXPERIENTIAL, INTERCULTURAL, AND IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE IN HAWAIʻI

Hawaiʻi Pacific University's (HPU) International Group Programs offer unique educational and cultural experiences for our partnering institutions worldwide. Our programs are customizable and tailored to suit participants' learning needs and preferences, from a specific curricular area to a focus on more general English language and cultural content. Taking an experiential learning approach, participants will gain hands-on experiences and uncover the rich tapestry of Hawaiian culture and the fascinating stories that make this paradise-on-earth an exclusive and inspiring destination. Join us for an unforgettable educational adventure that goes beyond borders and warmly welcomes the world!

International Group Programs at HPU are specialized educational initiatives designed to host international groups, whether students or professionals, to engage in academic, cultural, or experiential learning in various fields.

We offer a diverse range of programs, including short-term academic courses, cultural immersion experiences, language courses, and professional development programs tailored to the specific needs and interests of our partners.

Yes, we specialize in tailoring programs to match the unique goals and interests of our partner organizations. We can work with you to create a program that aligns with your objectives.

Upon request, HPU can arrange airport pick-up and drop-off with additional fees applied. For daily transportation, HPU can purchase bus passes for your group.

HOLO Bus Pass (as of July 1, 2024):
$80 unlimited monthly
$35 weekly
$7.50 daily

We take the safety and well-being of all participants very seriously. Our programs adhere to strict safety protocols, and we provide information, guidance, and resources to help ensure a secure and comfortable experience.

The ideal group size can vary depending on the program's objectives, but we can accommodate both small and large groups (min 10-15, max 20-25).

Program durations vary, ranging from a day to several weeks, depending on the specific program and the goals of your group.

HPU offers a diverse range of co-curricular activities, including conversation partners, intercultural exchanges, hula workshops, place-based learning, visits to Sea Life Park, and scavenger hunt activities in Waikīkī, Kakaʻako, Downtown, and Chinatown.

Upon request, we can reserve the HPU dormitory at Aloha Tower Marketplace for your group. Please note that the dorms are only available between May 15 and July 31. Alternatively, we can provide a list of economical accommodations for your group.
