Will Wilkerson holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networking and Cyber Security. He has earned numerous certifications, including CompTIA CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner), CompTIA Security+, ISACA CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), and EC Council CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker). These advanced industry certifications demonstrate his practical skills and commitment to staying current in the rapidly evolving IT field. Moreover, his 24 years of service in the U.S. Navy, particularly as an Information Systems Technician (IT), have given him real-world experience in high-pressure and complex technological environments. His current role as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) further enhances his expertise in system security, which is invaluable in an academic setting. This unique blend of academic knowledge, practical skills, military discipline, and current industry experience ideally position Will to impart both theoretical and practical wisdom to his students.
