Dr. Tracey Recigno is originally from southeastern PA and currently lives in South Jersey with her husband Pete, son Santino and dog-daughter Khaleesi. Her occupational roles include wife, mother, daughter, friend, occupational therapist, reader, traveler, runner, volunteer, and educator.
Professionally, Dr. Recigno considers herself to be a lifelong learner and is always looking for ways to learn something new! Through her doctoral work, Dr. Recigno cultivated a love for occupational therapy leadership and is the focus of her scholarly and service activities. Other interests include the scholarship of teaching and learning, interprofessional education, and complementary health approaches. She has presented at several national and international professional conferences and has published several peer-reviewed journal articles on leadership. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going out to dinner, crafting, reading, and traveling.
She is excited to be part of the ‘ohana at Hawai`i Pacific University and a member of this dynamic OTD team.
