Starting February 2023, HPU’s Undergraduate Infrastructure Student Research Center (HUI SRC) has held virtual, and in-person community training initiatives at the Aloha Tower Marketplace. These engaging and effective mentoring sessions benefit all aspects of the University’s work in research, teaching, and service. The multi-day training sessions offer a systemic approach to how faculty, students, administrators, staff, and community partners can build a lasting mentoring culture together.
Facilitators are Morgan State University Director of the Center for Innovative Instruction and Scholarship Laura Dorsey-Elson, Ph.D., and Morgan State University Project Manager for the Center for Predictive Analytics Department of Psychology Avis Jackson, Ph.D.
Dorsey-Elson and Jackson will return in May 2023 for three in-person sessions on leadership and communication skill building at Aloha Tower Marketplace, Multi-Purpose Room 3.
