Founded in 1971, BSE is one of the major universities for business studies and social sciences in Germany. Some 3,000 students from over 60 countries are currently enrolled and about 450 students annually graduate with a diploma degree, equivalent to the B.A. The faculty consists of 60 professors and 150 lecturers.

HOUSING
If you are interested in living in the student dorms, you must check the appropriate box in your online application form. Student housing costs 395-585 euros a month.
US passport holders typically do not need to obtain a visa prior to entering Germany. However, you will need to register with the residents' registration office within a week and then apply for your Residence Permit within 90 days. You should make your appointment for your residency permit before you enter Germany because appointments fill up quickly. The Residency Permit can be made before you enter Germany.
COST
This is an exchange partner school. Students will pay their regular tuition directly to HPU using any financial aid, scholarships. Housing and other costs are arranged separately.
PROGRAM SPECIFIC SCHOLARSHIPS
In addition to the scholarships listed by following the link above, Berlin School of Economics and Law is offering a $1000 travel grant for HPU students studying there for a semester.
ABOUT
Founded in 1898, HHL is the oldest business school in the German-speaking region. Being a small university with only 700 students, HHL provides students with individual attention due to an ideal ratio of teaching staff to students (1:5). HHL has a strong focus on entrepreneurship and leadership. Exchange students can choose between taking part in the Master of Management or the MBA program (2 years work experience required).

The SCHOOL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES has nominated HPU students for the Baden-Württemberg Scholarship Program in the Academic Year 2020/21. The funding level per student is set at 860,- Euro per month for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The scholarships will be granted for a period of four months.
